A folded A3 sheet holds four A4 pages. An ArrangePages event script runs when the batch leaves Scan: each A3 sheet starts a document, its front and back become four A4 pages in reading order (front right, back left, back right, front left), and A4 pages scanned after it stay in its document. Use the same event to cut out, turn, copy, move or delete pages and make documents your own way.
Try it
Create a Batch Setup from this template (Batch Setups › New Batch Setup, tab System features), and download its sample documents from the template's card (Download samples). Then: Import a3-booklets.pdf (two A3 sheets, front and back, with an A4 sheet between them). Open the batch: each A3 sheet became a document of A4 pages numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 in order. The script is on the Events tab (Batch, ArrangePages).
